Is my credit card information totally safe with you?
We use Card Service International as our credit card processor and all credit card information is transacted over secure SSL encrypted connections.

If I buy a hosting plan today can I upgrade later on when my site grows? Will i get charged for upgrading?
You can upgrade at any point. Just send an email to support@talos4.net and let them know which plan you want to upgrade to. No there is no charge for upgrading in hosting plans!

Can I register my domain name with you?
We can register a domain for you at the service we use (Domain Registry of America, droa.com) or we can assist you at the registry of your choice. If you wish us to manage and maintain your domain account, we require that you register with droa.com, otherwise you can maintain your own DNS and contact data with your own registrar in which case we will be glad to get you signed up with them.

Do you offer unlimited bandwidth?
No, it is not possible to offer unlimited bandwidth at all. That would be lying to our customers. Like everybody else, we are required to pay for the amount of bandwidth we consume to our upstream providers. We then in turn pass this fee to our customers in order to provide enough resources to our customers. This also applies to other hosts as well, not just us.

Can I host adult related sites?
Yes, we allow adult content as long as it abides by local laws, no child pornography of any kind is tolerated! You will be terminated without a refund and will get reported to the proper agencies! We do not tolerate it at all. Please see our permitted uses policy for further details.

Do you allow MP3 files? Do you allow streaming of videos?
Yes, we have no problem as long as those MP3’s and video files are legitimate. Please make sure you select the proper plan which allows it. We suggest a higher bandwidth and space plan because most likely, since its mp3s and videos they tend to be bigger files and once they are streamed they consume a lot of bandwidth.

How soon will my account be activated?
Most accounts are activated within 12 hours of confirmation of payment although typically we can set it up while you are on the phone with us.

I already have a domain, can I use it with your hosting? what are the steps?
Yes, if you already have a domain you can use it with our hosting plans. The first step is going to www.talos4.net and selecting the hosting plan of your choice. Then follow the steps to the order form. Select I already have a domain I would like to use on the order form. Note this will not transfer your domain from your current registrar where you registered the domain, this will only transfer the hosting if it is already hosted. After you paid for the hosting you will receive an email with all your login information to the server. You MUST also login into your domain control panel where ever you registered the domain and modify the NAMESERVERS or DNS to ours, our nameservers will be in the welcome email, you must make those changes in order for your website to be live.

How do I sign up?
While we encourage you to use the information resources on our site as well as the online payment features of our site, we prefer to discuss with you, person to person, what your needs are so as to insure that you will get what you want. You should start by completing the inquiry form after which we will contact you. You will need to complete the online payment which you typically can do while we are setting up your account.
